Adam Greene Obituary
Born Dec. 9, 1985, in Steubenville, he was the son of Chuck and Jacki (Hidey) Greene of Scio. A 2004 graduate from Harrison Central High School, he worked at Hopedale Mining for the past three years and prior to that he worked at Baker's Food in Scio.
He loved fishing and golfing with his family and friends and lifting at Barbells in Cadiz.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Summer (Brian) Davis of Sagamore Hills; brother Joe Greene of Jewett; girlfriend Roxie Kemp of Bethesda; grandparents John and Alice Hidey of Scio; niece and nephews, Sophie and Brodie Davis and Joey Greene; aunts and uncles, Mike (Karen) Greene, Bob (Beverly) Greene, Jenny (Junior) Ankrom, Jeff (Lena) Greene; Vicki (Randy) Snyder and Karen (Haddy) Stewart and special friend Mike Huff.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Denzil and Jean Greene.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday from 4 to 8 at Koch Funeral Home in Scio. A private service will be held later at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers an account is being established in honor of Adam's niece Sophie Laken Davis at PNC Bank in Scio (740) 945-3511. The account will be called "Adam's Heart Lives On," and all funds will be donated to The Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Heart Foundation.
