Atlee L. Troyer
age 74, of Berlin, Ohio passed away Tuesday morning, April 21, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic due to complications from Open Heart Surgery.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at New Life Church (formerly Bethany Mennonite Church) with minister, Paul J. Yoder officiating. Burial will be at the New Life Church Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio.
Atlee was born April 2, 1941 in Charm, Ohio and was the son of Levi D. and Lizzie (Miller) Troyer. On July 9, 1977 he married Effie Burkholder and she survives. He was a member of Bethany Mennonite Church, Holmesville, Ohio.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children and their spouses, Sharon and Tim Hostetler of Wooster, Ohio and Lavern and Ileen Troyer of Millersburg, Ohio; five grandchildren, Riley, Katy, Preston, Derek and Devin; two brothers, Dan (Emma) Troyer of Charm and Jonas (Cindy) Troyer of Gnadenhutten, Ohio; and four sisters, Amanda Kline, Mary (Henry B.) Yoder and Emma (Abe) Mast all of Charm, Ohio and Ella (Aden B.) Miller of Walnut Creek, Ohio. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Dena Troyer of Charm, Ohio.
Atlee was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mose Troyer; and a brother-in-law, Vernon Kline.
