Lumley
77, of Carrollton, died Tuesday afternoon in Mercy Medical Center. Born April 20, 1938 in Harlem Springs, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Max and Mary Yeager Cotton. Barbara was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carrollton, an active member of Eastern Star #315 where she served for many years as secretary and past Worthy Matron. She also was Past District Deputy of District 13 OES. Barbara loved her family and was an avid cook.
She is survived by two sons, Kurt Lumley of North Canton, Ohio and Scott Lumley of the home; two sisters, Frances Scopel of Amsterdam, Ohio and Betty (Joe) Russell of Carrollton; one brother, Randy (Sharon) Cotton of Carrollton; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband David who passed away in 2006.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Rev. Dan Loomis officiating. Burial will follow in the Harlem Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be today (Thursday) from 6-8 p.m.

We are so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. And especially sorry that we missed the calling hours or funeral...you boys were so nice when my parents passed and though I didn't know your Mom well, I did know you ornery fellas....hugs and kisses to you both....till I see you....Bev
