Betty Lou and Charles Lehman
"Together Again"
Betty Lou (Smith) Lehman
age 87, of Baltic and formerly of Newcomerstown, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Community Hospice House. She was born Wednesday, Feb. 1, 1928 in Newcomerstown, to the late Earl and Vera (Snyder) Smith. She was a housewife and a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Newcomerstown and also attended the Newcomerstown Churches of Christ in Christian Union. She was a 1945 graduate of Newcomerstown High School.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Helen and Joann Lehman; her brothers-in-law, James Lehman and his wife, Carolyn, and Fred Lehman and his wife, Linda, all of Newcomerstown; and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Lehman in 1980; her son, James E. Lehman in 2009; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Leanice Lehman; and her brothers-in-law, Joseph, Bill and Dayne Lehman.
At her request, she is to be cremated. Graveside services will be Monday, May 4, 2015 at 1 p.m. at West Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Jim Reed officiating.
