Clifford Carr Obituary
91, of Dover, Ohio, died Friday evening, Dec. 23, 2011, at the Hennis Care Centre, Bolivar, Ohio. He was born Oct. 5, 1920 in rural Tuscarawas County to the late Albert and Gertrude Carr. He served in the U.S. Army with distinction during World War II and was awarded the Puple Heart and other decorations. He was employed for 25 years by Alsco Aluminum, retiring in 1982. Mr. Carr attended the Foursquare Church of Dennison, Ohio.
He was preceded to death by his wife, Dorothy Carr in 1988; nine bothers and sisters. Mr. Carr is survived by his children, Dorothy (Gary) Zollins of Canton; Thomas (Debbie) Carr of Dover, Janet (Frank) Perko of North Canton; his grandchildren, Lisa (Zollins) Coates, Laurie (Zollins) Boyd, Scott and Michael Carr, Melissa (Perko) Gash, Ashley Perko and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel with his grandson-in-law, Rev. Jordan Gash, officiating. Burial will be at East Cemetery, New Philadelphia, Ohio. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Those wishing to share their condolences or a fond memory may sign the Reed On-Line Guestbook at

Dan & I are so sorry we wont be able to attend cliffs service--we have MANY wonderful memories of Cliff. Because of his service to the Lord-- we are serving the Lord today. our 38 years of ministry happened because cliff wittnessed to Dan when they both worked at Alsco.
god Bless you --Jeanne, Tom & Janet--you were all kids when we met you over 50 years ago now.
