IRENE PALOF Obituary
87, of Bolivar, died Monday June 25, 2018 at Hennis Care Center in Bolivar following a period of declining health. Born April 16, 1931 in Cleveland she was a daughter of the late Martin and Katherine Krzystofek. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and cooking for her family, especially her favorite ethnic dishes. She also enjoyed the beauty of flowers. Irene was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church near Zoar.
Her husband George Palof preceded her in death on July 11, 2007. She is survived by a son Andy Palof of Bolivar, two daughters Grace (Tim) Carpenter of Palmdale, California, Elaine (John) Wojcicki of Bolivar, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother Joe Krzystofek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday June 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at The Church of The Holy Trinity at 1835 Dover-Zoar Rd. NE Bolivar with Fr. Rigobert Kiwa as Celebrant, assisted by Deacon Lyn Houze. Burial will follow in St. Stephens Catholic Cemetery in Bolivar. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of services at the church. The Lebold-Smith funeral Home in Bolivar is handling the arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff at Hennis Care Center in Bolivar for the excellent care Irene received.
