James Canfield Obituary

James Paul

Canfield Sr.

passed away on Jan. 13, 2018. He was born on Oct. 30, 1938.

His wife Darlene (Edwards) Vaughn survives.

He entered the military at 17 years old and served for 20 years. After his military service Jim worked at Wills Creek Energy. He and Darlene were able to build the home of their dreams that included a beautiful pond and swans-truly a paradise.

Later in life he became one of Jehovah's Witnesses with his wife.

Jim became ill but had a smile for everyone. He enjoyed wine making and sharing it with his friends.

A Memorial service for Jim will be held on Friday, March 23 at 7 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1212 Kelly Ave, New Philadelphia conducted by Brother Mark Overholt. Come at 6:30 pm to visit with the family.
