Jeffery McCune Obituary
50, of Wilmot, passed away Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013. Born in Massillon, Dec. 22, 1962, a son to Richard P. and Minnie (Carper) McCune, Jeff had worked as a truck driver for 34 years, most recently for Dan Miller Trucking. In past years he was a firefighter with the Wilmot Fire Dept. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren; fishing, hunting and shooting his guns.
Preceded in death by his father, Jeff is survived by his wife, Tina (Green) McCune whom he married Oct. 28, 1999; children, Helen, of Tucson, Ariz., Tabitha (JC) Sparr, of Mineral City, David Chavez and companion Katy of New Philadelphia, Lee Chavez and companion Tiffany Owens, of Wadsworth and Keith Chavez and companion, Jerrica of South Daytona Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Trent, Chanler, Raegan, Tionna, Collin and Alexander. Also surviving are his mother, Minnie McCune; sisters, Kay (Ed) Tunning and Sharon (John) Kesby, of Michigan; his brothers, Richard A. (Roxann) McCune, Randy P. (Christine) McCune and Douglas E. (Deb) McCune; special nephew, Brandon, and several nieces of nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at Lakeview Baptist Church in Dundee. Pastor Gary Yackey will officiate. Family and friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. The family has suggested memorial donations be made in care of the funeral home to defray the cost of funeral expenses. Dad, where do I begin?? I love you so much and will miss you greatly. You were always there for me and the kids. You were the greatest grandpa ever. I know that you are at peace and the pain is gone and you deserve that. But it just hurts knowing you wont be here for holiday and birthdays telling me I am #1 in all the photos.
