John Lamb Obituary
85, of Beach City, passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at Aultman Hospital, Canton following a period of declining health. He was born at Glenville, W.Va., the son of the late James T. and Rita Wanstreet Lamb and had been a resident here 63 years. He retired from LTV Steel and enjoyed farming.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his wife, Naomi, Nov. 16, 2009, son Mike, daughter Karen, grandson, Johnnie and his siblings. Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, John (Donna), Dean (Helen) of Beach City, Ed (Linda) of Florida; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy (Irvin) Sprang of Strasburg, Debbie (Doug) Simmons of Dover, Donna Lamb of the residence; sister-in-law, Shirley Lamb; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
A celebration of John's life will be held, Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Van Arsdalen officiating. Interment will be made in Green Lawn Cemetery, Wilmot. Friends may call, Tuesday evening, Nov. 29, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. You may sign guest book at
