Larry Nickles Obituary
66, of Wooster and formerly of Navarre, began Hot Rodding in Heaven Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 surrounded by family. He was born July 13, 1951 to Lawrence and Doris Nickles and graduated in 1969 from Hiland High School. He worked at Timken Roller Bearing Co. and was a member of Cedar Lodge 430, F.&A.M.
He will be lovingly missed by his children, Josh and Katie Nickles, Melissa and Ian McElroy and Amanda Nickles; grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Avaiah, Wyatt, Anna, Kyleigh, Della; grand pup, Daisy Mae; siblings, Sandy Nickles, Bonnie Nickles, Donna and Barry Miller, Barb and Marlin Moore, Sally and Barry Skelly and Peg and Rick Beechy; numerous nieces and nephews; Johnny and Marla Neiss; and caregiver Stacy Unkefer. Greeting him in Heaven are Lawrence, Doris, Lois, Laverne and Kenny Nickles along with Matt Neiss and a host of other family and friends.
Friends may greet the family on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton. A celebration of life service will be held at New Pointe Community Church, 3950 SR 39, Dover, on Saturday at 11 a.m..
He celebrated all of life's moments. When we complain about the bumps and bruises of life, he was the ever encourager – PMA –positive mental attitude. He made a point to always ask how the other person is doing and thinking of others before himself. He gave not only his time, but more importantly he gave his love generously. For this he has left an impact permanently on our hearts and lives forever. What a party, what a legacy, love always, love more, love most.

I am so sorry to read about Larry's passing. I just found out after reading the union paper. Larry was a good friend of mine during our days at Timken, I will miss him.

Was really sorry to hear of Fuzz's passing. Tom Potter called me Wednesday to tell me; really made me sad. Had so many good times at Neiss's garage with all the gear heads back 'IN THE DAY'. Remember the black dart? Fuzzy had probably the fastest 340 dart in the country. I'll bet it's the fastest one in Heaven today. Will always have our memories.
