Margaret (Peggy) Wright

Des Moines

Margaret Dell Wright, 82, died Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Taylor House in Des Moines. Peggy was born July 16, 1932 the daughter of John, and Edna (Anker) Custer. Her childhood years were spent in Altoona, and she graduated from there in 1950. Peggy worked for American Mutual Insurance retiring in 1995.

Peggy is survived by her sons, John Custer(Donita), Peter Michael (Norma), Andrew James (Stephanie); granddaughters, Katelyn, Jacklyn, Sara(Aaron Brown) and Kayla (Tyler) Losee; great grandchildren, Haileigh Wright, Brandon Brown, Jaxsen and Avery Losee; and her sister Jo Anne Pinkerton (Robert).

Friends and family are invited to a visitation to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Iles Grandview Park Chapel.

A private graveside service will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon following at Capitol Hill Christian Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Capitol Hill Christian Church, 3322 East 25th Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50317.
