MATTIE MILLER Obituary
85, of 4533 SR 557 Millersburg (Charm) died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia. She was born February 6, 1933 in Holmes County to the late Abe C. and Emma (Yoder) Raber. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. She was married on November 1, 1951 to Eli E. Miller who died on January 28, 2018.
She is survived by her children, Verba (David) Weaver, Nelson (Ada) Miller, Sarah (Paul) Miller and Fannie (Eli) Kempf all of Millersburg, David Miller of the home; daughter-in-law, Fannie (Sam) Miller Beiler of Pa.; 33 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 77 great grandchildren; brother, David (Amanda) Raber of Millersburg; and two sisters-in-law, Verna Raber of Fresno and Mary Raber of Millersburg. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son John; infant daughter; great granddaughter, Myla Miller; sister, Sarah; and five brothers, Paul, John, Noah, Abe and Eli.
Services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the Christ Schlabach Residence 4557 SR 557 Millersburg (Charm) with Bishop Wayne Shetler officiating. Burial will be in the Raber Cemetery in Clark Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call anytime after 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Wednesday. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
