Michael Robillard Obituary

Michael "Tate" Robillard 1992-2016
24, of Canton passed away on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016. Born on Feb. 29, 1992 in Winterhaven, Fla. he was the son of Walter and Sally (Tice) Robillard. He graduated from New Philadelphia High School with the class of 2010. Tate was a talented plumber at Reliable Plumbing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.He had a heart of gold and was liked by everyone he met. He was extremely artistic and enjoyed drawing, poetry, and cooking. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and gathering with his family and friends around a campfire. He also loved UFC fighting.
In addition to his parents, he will be missed by his brother, which was his best friend; Corey Robillard of Canton; grandmother, Becky Applegarth of Florida; aunts and uncles, Daniel Schmucker of New Philadelphia, Sheila Smucker of Coshocton, Sam (Jess) Schmucker of Millersburg, Katherine (Kenneth) Robin of Canton, Donald (Teresa Lake) Robillard of New Philadelphia; his beloved dogs, Diesel and Cally; along with numerous cousins and close friends.
His grandparents, Donald and Judith Robillard, and great grandmother, Jenny Tice, precede him in death.
Friends and family will gather on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover from 10-12p.m. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Immediately following the service, a meal will be served at the Dover Masonic Lodge. Those unable to attend, or who would like to share a fond memory of Tate may do so by visiting the "obituaries & flowers" link on the funeral home's website.
