Mose Yoder Obituary
67, of 2461 TR 414 Dundee died at home on Friday, February 26, 2021 after battling a long battle of multiple sicknesses. He was born in Coshocton County on December 14, 1953 to the late John E. and Anna (Miller) Yoder. They are members of Mennonite Christian Assembly in Fredericksburg.
He is survived by his wife, Katie Mae Schlabach whom he married on February 21, 1974, also surviving are his children, Mark (Chris) Yoder of Dundee, Martha Sue (Larry) Galford of Cuyahoga Falls, Marion (Linda) Yoder of Ragersville, John Ray (Kari) Yoder of Ragersville, JoAnna (Josh) Barnett of Georgia, Joseph Jay Yoder of North Carolina, Christina Yoder of the home, along with his youngest furry son, George Yoder; grandchildren, Jordan, Dakota, Braden, Logan, Skylar, Hailey, Sabrina, Bella, Johnny, and Audryana; step grandchildren, Caiden, Alexis, Adrienne, Alivia and Noah; 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Susie (Roman) Miller of Farmerstown, Edna (Mose) Mast and Fannie (Abe) Miller both of New Bedford; 3 sisters-in-law, Barbara Ann Yoder of Holmesville, Barbara Yoder of Charm and Beth Eikleberry of Killbuck; and 2 brothers-in-law, Ray Hershberger of Ragersville and Noah Yoder of Sugarcreek. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Ruthann, grandson Kolton Trae, mother-in-law Mattie Miller; 3 brothers, Roman, Henry, and Emauel; 2 sisters, Anna and Ida; and 10 infant siblings.
Services will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 10 AM at Mennonite Christian Assembly in Fredericksburg with Pastor Ben Raber officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 1-3 and 5-8 PM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. Masks will be required and social distancing will be observed. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Aultman Hospice.
