NOAH YODER Obituary

Noah N. Yoder 1920-2018

98, of 4159 TR 184 Baltic, died Friday, March 2, 2018 in the home of his son Henry Yoder, 2897 TR 406, Millersburg. He was born Feb.11, 1920 in Holmes County to the late Noah J. and Sarah (Hershberger) Yoder. He is a retired Farmer. He was a member of the Older Order Amish Church and was ordained as Minister in 1959. He was married Nov. 20, 1945 to Susan Yoder who died Dec. 22, 1989.

He is survived by his children, Sarah (Sam E.) Mast of Fresno, Lizzie (Jonas J.) Mast of Millersburg, Eli (Emma) Yoder of Fresno, Henry (Alma) Yoder, Roman (Ella) Yoder and Amanda (Dan J.) Bowman all of Millersburg, Amos (Lizzie) Yoder of Baltic, and Alvin (Anna Mae) Yoder of Fresno, son-in-law, Andy (Dora) Troyer of Millersburg; 68 grandchildren; 238 great- grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; a sister, Katie N. Yoder of Millersburg, and sister–in-law, Mary Yoder of Fresno. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Bertha, two granddaughters, two daughters-in-law, Ella and Mary, three brothers, Dan, Andy, and Jacob and two sisters, Lizzie and Mary Ann.

Services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the Paul Nisley Panel Shop TR 184 Baltic with Bishop Delbert Erb officiating. Burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery in Clark Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call anytime after 1 p.m. on Saturday. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
