Together Again

92, of Sugarcreek passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg following a brief illness. He was born in Holmes County on February 1, 1929 to the late Albert and Iva (Duncan) Yoder and married Lucille Shutt on May 24, 1947. She died on October 10, 2011. Paul was a lifelong trucker and a member of the Teamsters and was also a member of the Sugarcreek Church of the Brethren.

He is survived by his children, Larry (Lynn) Yoder of Arvada, Colo., Dwight (Barb) Yoder of Ragersville, Kevin (Gladys) Yoder of Dundee, Bryan (Tobie) Yoder of Sugarcreek, Paula (Tim) Specht of Ragersville, Diana (Michael) Stingel of Dundee, and Eric (Cindi) Yoder of New Philadelphia; 20 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren and anticipating the arrival of twp more great grandchildren; and his sister Louella Yoder of Dover. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Amy Yoder; three sisters; three brothers; a great grandson and great granddaughter.

Private family graveside services will be held at Union Hill Cemetery with Pastor Dick Marshall officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. Memorials may be made to Sugarcreek Church of the Brethren 144 Yoder Ave. NW, Sugarcreek, OH 44681.
