Steven Hershberger Obituary
49 of Beach City passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at South Eastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge after
suffering an apparent heat attack. He was born at Millersburg, the son of David Hershberger of Walnut Creek and the late Alice (Menges) Hershberger and had been a Beach City resident 24 years. He was employed by Yoder Drilling as a driller for seven years and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, Dundee.
Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Dena (Weaver)Hershberger, whom he married March 7, 1996; one son and daughter-in-law, Logan (Kimberly) Hershberger; one daughter, Brittany Hershberger; one granddaughter, Peyton Hershberger, all of Beach City; two brothers and two sisters, Dave and Todd Hershberger, Judy Huff and Carol (Dean) Dalrymple.
Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, St. Rt. 93, Dundee with Pastor Gary Yackey officiating. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call Wednesday Feb. 8, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at

Shocked and saddened. I haven't seen Steve for years. I worked with him at Rexroth. He was a great guy and a lot of fun to work with. He always went out of his way to be helpful. My sympathies to his family.
