Thomas Duckworth Obituary
CHILLICOTHE: Thomas W. Duckworth, Jr., 59, of Chillicothe, died 10:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 at his residence unexpectedly.
He was born March 8, 1955, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Thomas W. Sr. and Margaret L. Sweet Duckworth. On June 21, 1974, he married the former Kathy L. Smith who survives.
Also surviving are his father, Thomas W. Duckworth, Sr., of Chillicothe; mother and stepfather, Margaret L. and David Cassel, of Chillicothe; sons, Jason W. Duckworth and his companion, Angela Sowards, of Chillicothe and Joshua I. Duckworth and his companion, Rachel Jacobsen, of South Salem; grandchildren, Julian, Leah, Mason and Cassidy Duckworth; brothers, David L. (Tammy) Duckworth and Michael Cassel, both of Chillicothe; sisters, Lori A. (Richard) Hunter and Anita Lynn Newman, both of Chillicothe; mother-in-law, Doris Smith, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Robert E. Smith.
Thomas worked at Rocal, Inc. in Frankfort.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Matt Stollings officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
