Zachary Haas Obituary

Zachary Allen Haas
age 26, of Massillon and formerly of New Philadelphia, a loving son, brother, and uncle, who will be sadly missed by so many, was taken from us way too soon. A son of Jeffery and Paula (Clemens) Haas of New Philadelphia, Zach was born on Oct. 31, 1988 in Aultman Hospital at Canton. He was a 2007 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and Buckeye Career Center, where he was in the CAD program. A fun loving individual with a heart of gold, Zach enjoyed snowboarding, golfing, being out of doors, being with family and friends and listening to Jam bands and Blues Music. Most recently, he had been employed by Tremcar at Strasburg as a welder.
He will be deeply missed by his parents, his sister, Kyra (James) Miller of New Philadelphia; his beloved nieces, Makenna and Sienna Miller; his grandparents, Miriam (John) Harper of Navarre, Ilse (Steve) Decker of Massillon, and Thomas (Cecilia) Clemens, Jr. of Steubenville; his beloved dog, Roxy as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Zach was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marion Haas; a cousin, Jason Louive; an uncle, Thomas Michael Clemens, III, and great-grandparents, Thomas and Imogene Clemens, Sr.
The family will greet guest on Monday, July 27, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A service celebrating Zach's life will be led by Pastor Kevin D'Ettorre on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home's chapel. Those wishing to do so may send the family a personal condolence and light a candle in remembrance of Zach by visiting the funeral home's website at www.GeibCares.com.

So very sorry for your loss. Zach was such a loving, funny and loyal friend with a contagious laugh and huge heart! I met Zach in 6th grade and have been friends with him every since. I am sorry I could not fly home to properly say goodbye but will always remember the last time we got to be together, it was a night full of laugher and reminiscing of old times. Thinking of your family during this tragic time.

You are so loved and missed Haas!
