Dr. John Orme Obituary
He was born on August 19, 1955 in Danville, IL, the son of John W. and Irene L. Tallman Orme.
John married Kathy Drenckpohl in Mahomet on September 15, 1979 and she survives. Also surviving are three daughters: Jennifer Orme of Champaign, Abigail (Tate) McMillin of Chicago, and Elizabeth (Alex) Runzo of Rockville, MD; and one sister, Becky (Bill) Powers of Columbia, IL. John was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a previous member of First Christian Church in Watseka and a current member of First United Methodist Church in Watseka. John enjoyed playing the trumpet for the Danville Municipal Band, Parkland College Band, and Newton-Jasper County Band. He was a doctor of chiropractic in Watseka for over 32 years. He enjoyed woodworking, old cars, and was an avid University of Illinois and St. Louis Cardinals fan. John was a member of Watseka Masonic Lodge 446 as a Past Master and District Deputy, Valley of Danville Scottish Rite, and a 32 degree Mason having received the Meritorious Service Award.
A celebration of life visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 3:00-6:00 PM at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
Memorials may be made to the Danville Municipal Band, First Christian Church in Watseka, or First United Methodist Church in Watseka.

Kathy and girls, we are deeply sorry for your loss. We met Tim once at Katy's wedding in St. Louis and remember his funny wit. Mostly we knew him through his sister Becky's cherished stories. He was obviously dearly loved by his family. Praying God's angels surround you in love.

My heart is crushed for the family. Dr. Orme went far above and beyond on more than one occasion to open up the clinic after hours, which helped me on one occasion, to start a new job the next day. I'll never forget it. May God give you peace of mind and comfort now.
