Rhonda Wittenborn Obituary

Rhonda A. Wittenborn, 64, of Watseka passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at her home surrounded by family.  She was born February 19, 1953 in Champaign, the daughter of John W. and Juanita F. Reisner Robeck.  She married Dennis C. Wittenborn in Urbana on November 12, 1970 and he survives.
In addition to her husband, Dennis Wittenborn of Watseka, Rhonda is survived by four children, Kristine (Nathan) Horchem of Watseka, Matthew (Crystal) Wittenborn of Kentland, IN, Sean (Rebecca) Wittenborn of Watseka, and Stacy (Eric) Davenport of Watseka; fourteen grandchildren, Kailie Horchem, Austen Horchem, Jena Horchem, Mason Wittenborn, Morgan Richards, Makaila Wittenborn, Mya Wittenborn, Myles Wittenborn, Drew Wittenborn, Elizabeth Wittenborn, Seth Wittenborn, Chelsie Davenport, Cole Davenport, and Cameron Davenport; three great-grandchildren, Kirra Norder, Parker Ward, and Brinley Gullquist.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-granddaughter, Addison Horchem Norder.
Rhonda was a member of St. Edmund Catholic Church in Watseka, Shewami Country Club, and the National Restaurant Association.  She was co-owner of several Monical's Pizza restaurants in Illinois and Indiana.  Rhonda enjoyed traveling, reading, golfing, and shopping.   Rhonda also loved camping with friends and family at their family campground in Brazil, Indiana.  
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, March 24, 2017 at St. Edmund Catholic Church in Watseka.  Fr. Michael Powell will officiate.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka with rosary services to be held at 3:45 pm.
Memorials may be made to Aubrey's Angels Foundation or Iroquois County Relay For Life.

DW and family,

Sorry to hear of Rhonda's passing. We feel relief for her and all of you knowing that the suffering and agony for her are over and find hope that today a new life has begun with joy and no more pain or sorrow. She was such a vibrant person as witnessed by the influence she has left with her family. Remember the good times.
