FRANKFORT - Jesse Thomas Sweet Ferdula, 49, on March 23, 2018, went to climb mountains with his Dad, Richard, brother, Joey and Terry Bustos as guide.
Born August 27, 1968, the son of Richard and Sharon Stone Sweet, he was a graduate of FSCS Class of '86.
Jesse worked at UCP, but enjoyed his work much more as a licensed land surveyor for J. R. Engineering in Colorado Springs, CO. Coach, as Jess was known by his kids from 45-8, was happiest teaching kids the game of football. Jesse coached more than twenty years in Frankfort and Colorado Springs.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Sharon; stepfather, Joseph T.; the two special blessings in his life, his daughter, Jessa Rose and his son, Jake - they were a gift. He also leaves his brothers and their wives, John and Kim, James and Missy and Justin and Elizabeth; so very many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and a special brother, Mike Hart. He was predeceased by his father, Richard; and brother, Joseph.
Jesse's funeral service will be held, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 4:00 PM, from the Whiter Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego St., Ilion, with Pastor Brian Engle officiating. Friends may call, Saturday, from 1-4.
Sharon and family would like to give love and thanks to so many people who are part of our lives and who took the journey with us: Jim Fraker, Spirit Guide and the Prayer Warriors in Colorado Springs, Pastor Brian Engle and the Mohawk Reformed Church Prayer Chain for all the strength they gave us, the ICU angels, doctors, nurses and staff at Bassett, Cooperstown, for the love and compassion shown to Jesse.
