Ronnie Beach Obituary

Ronnie Lynn Beach 1950 - 2018
HERKIMER - Ronnie Lynn Beach, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, October 20, 2018, in Little Falls Hospital. He had the comfort of his loving family by his side.
He was born on February 15, 1950, in Little Falls, son of Helen Brown Beach Neff and the late Lynn Beach. Ron was raised in Mohawk where he graduated from Mohawk High School.
On September 23, 1989, he was united in marriage to the former Carol Robellard in the Herkimer Reformed Church. For 15 years, Mr. Beach was employed by the Remington Arms Company in Ilion, before going to work as a heavy equipment operator for the Tioga Construction Company in Herkimer. He retired in 2015. He was a member of the East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department and the Coffee Crew at Mona's Diner in Mohawk. Ron was an avid NASCAR fan who always cheered for his favorite drivers, Mark Martin and Kyle Busch. Sundays in the fall, you could always find him rooting for the New York Giants football team. A man with a true love for the outdoors, you could find him outside splitting fire wood and at one time hunting or snowmobiling. In his leisure time, he enjoyed taking Sunday rides with his wife, Carol. To all who knew him, he was an honest, caring and upright man with an unforgettable smile. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family especially his cherished grandchildren.
Surviving him besides his mother, Helen Neff, of Mohawk; are his devoted wife of 29 years, Carol and daughter, Danielle, of Herkimer; three sons, Ronnie E. Beach, of Schuyler, Derek Beach, of Ilion, Kyle Beach, of Mohawk; a daughter, Sabrina Beach, of MA; one sister, Patti Beckwith and her husband, Robbie, of Ilion; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his step-father, John Neff, in 2002.
Calling hours for Mr. Beach will be on Wednesday, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., in Fenner Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Thursday, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Donald King of the Dennison Corners Church officiating. Interment will follow in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion.
Expressions of sympathy may be made with memorial donations to the East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department or Saint Jude's' Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Ron, I miss you more than you could ever know. I loved you the day we met, now and forever. I miss the jokes, laughs at my expense most of the time regarding my gray hair, my broken toes, and most of all my Indian name of Broken Toe. You gave me a terrific birthday party even though you know I don't like to be the center of attention. I remember our wedding like it was yesterday, the girls doing the California Raisin dance, the black limo, the hurricane we got married in. We had 29 great years, wish we had many more but when we meet again we will pick up where we left off. I wish I could have done more than awful day but it just wasn't meant to be. I guess God needed someone to cut wood, mow the lawn and just needed a special man in his Kingdom. Well I miss the teasing between you and Danielle, the many times you came down the hall and scared me and I jumped and you would say you need to relax. Wish we could have both retired and traveled a little, because you would tell us you weren't going to go on a vacation but tell them at coffee you were going just telling us no. Nothing is the same, the boys miss you, Dani misses you and I miss you. I will always love you forever and ever. Don't forget about us, watch over us and help us do the things we have no idea what to do. WE all love and miss you but heaven gained a great angel that day and we lost a great father, husband and best friend.

Carol and family,
We used to car-pool to Remington, back in the mid-seventies. Always enjoyed his company. We and our wives went on a couple dinner train excursions out of Milford with the Hailstons, years ago.
We are so sorry for your loss, and have our deepest condolences. He will be missed. God Bless!
