MOHAWK - Wilfred Paul Totten, 82, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018 with his loving family by his side to support and comfort him.
Paul was born on August 23, 1935, the son of Wilfred and Anna (Stewart) Totten. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Jefferson, NY and Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, majoring in electronics. He was united in marriage on May 13, 1977, to Eileen Ludwig, in Richfield Springs.
Paul was later employed as an electronics technician with Univac in Utica and a Quality Control Engineer with PAR Technology in New Hartford and Barrett's Quality Electric in Florida, retiring in 1998.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Eileen Totten; his children, Paul Totten and his wife, Amy, of Mohawk, Mary Townsend and her husband, Paul, of Ilion, Dorr Totten of Venice, FL, Paula Darby and her husband, Joe of West Exeter, Rachel Rappleyea and her husband, Carl, of Windham, NY, Kim Dybalski and her husband, Tom, of Venice, FL and Eric Gravelding and his wife, Paula, of Ilion; a sister, Mabel Faoro, of Prattsville, NY; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; and special family members, Lester Brown and his in-laws, Darleen and Steve Paul, of Dolgeville and Ray Ludwig, of Auburn; as well as special friend, Jan Benson, of Worcester, NY. He was predeceased by his beloved daughters, Margaret Butler, in 2010, Kimberly Totten, in 1961; and his brother, Stewart Totten, in 1934.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego Street, Ilion, New York, with his brother-in-law, Ray Ludwig, officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m., until the time of the service.
