Fifty-five years ago, Andy sold me my first piano - a used, but well-cared-for old upright - which my parents had given me as a wedding gift. When we moved into a different apartment, it wouldn't fit up the stairway, so he took it back and offered me a brand new piano instead. We had very little money, and one-year-old twin babies, but Andy allowed me to pay just $10 a month until it was mine. I never forgot his kindness, and over the years, I was able to get the churches I served and many of my piano students' families to buy pianos from him, also. He was the kindest and most gracious man, and I always loved running into him at some musical event. May his dear soul rest in eternal peace.

Special, fond memories of Andy with my brother Joseph Polito, who sadly passed away last July. Our favorite times was having lunch together and visiting at his
home.
We will honor his wishes with a donation to his favorite charity, Erin's Love Bugs, Inc.
Our sincere sympathy,

Theresa, Carla & Connie, we are so sorry for your loss. Andy was a true gentlemen and the world will be at a loss without him.
He was musically talented and had an eye for his antique clocks and collectibles.
We will remember our trips to Arthur Ave. in the Bronx to eat and shop at all the specialty stores for cheese, bread, pasta and pastries. Theresa, thank you for making those days happen.
We will also remember the dinners and parties when he could actually relax and enjoy the moments.
He is at peace now and know that he always cared about the family.

Very sorry to have read about Andy's passing .
I have always admired and respected Andy for the way he conducted his business and I certainly learned many things from him.
He was truly a professional at what he did and the many, many families that he served I'm sure feel the same way. His proudest moments where all about his family .
Thank you for sharing him with us .

My deepest condolences to Theresa, Carla and Connie and entire Gigliotti family. Andy had been a family friend for over fifty years. Professional, attentive and caring to those who sought his expertise. He was a gentleman with many talents yet always displayed the 'common touch'. Andrew was a great asset to the Capitol district community. May eternal rest be with him.

What a dear soul Andy was. He sold me my first piano in Albany, and then provided several more for churches in which I served as music director. I enjoyed every encounter I had with him. May he rest in peace eternal. God bless all who miss him.
