Albert J. Buher

Buher, Albert J. LATHAM Albert J. Buher, 99, of Latham, ente-red into eternal life on Friday, November 25, 2016, in the comfort of his daughter's home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Pittsfield, Mass., he was the son of the late Christopher and Johanna Gasser Buher; and was predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years, Bridget (Bertha) Moran Buher. Mr. Buher was a proud World War II Navy veteran, serving with the Seabees in the South Pacific. Upon returning home, he began a career as an H.V.A.C. technician, and for the next 40 years he worked with the Troy Housing Authority, several area restaurants and R.P.I., retiring in 1983. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends, attending his beloved grandchildren's school and sporting events and most of all spending time with his loving family. Albert is survived by his beloved daughter and son-in- law, Mary Colleen and Paul J. Seebald; and his grandchil-dren, Bridget and Matthew Swezey, Amy and Thomas Nicoterra, Patrick Albert Seebald (Mary F. Kellogg), and Bryan Matthew Seebald. He is also survived by his sister, Loretta Curran and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Rudolph, William, Francis, Louis and Robert Buher, Jean Wogel, Ella Pekins, Mary Buher and Margaret Dochak. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, December 10, at 9 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, Latham.
