Spending time with Raegan and your name came up just yesterday. She has mentioned you often because the last thing you told her is "Do not take any wooden nickels". Working in South Carolina, she had a couple customers tell her the same thing. She calls me every time.
So love to you Al. We miss you! Kathy and Raegan

Dear Aunt Jan and all the family...I just became aware of this news. Please know my heartfelt sorrow for this tremendous loss. Uncle Al was one of the nicest people I´ve ever known. He always helped me or anyone so kindly, without hesitation and never asked for anything in return. He did quite a lot for me in the days I knew him and I am forever grateful to have had him in my world for a portion of my life. He was truly a kind soul and now a beautiful angel to watch over us. Thank you Uncle Al for all you were for me. I was honored to have known you. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. Xoxo

Jan and Family,
I am sending thoughts and prayers to all of you. Al was more than a co-worker to me, he was a great friend. I have many memories of our years on the presses at Williams Press and then the TU. Our times outside of work were always full of laughs. He was a great guy and I will always value out times together. May your memories bring you comfort.
God Bless, Bob Harrington

My name is Kathy. I am the sister of Vince(VJ) the husband of Barbara, the sister of Jan, the wife of Albert or Big Al as I knew him.
Please first let me say to the family of Albert Green, I am So So Sorry for your loss. Nothing anyone can say will ease this pain. I want you to know I am here for all of you if you need me.
Next I would like to share a memory that stands so strong in my heart.
My brother VJ and I lost our father in Dec. 1996. It was hard for me but i believe it was harder for my brother. I never told Big Al this, but I saw how he molded my brother into a wonderful man and father. Big Al took him under his wing and treated him just like he was one of his kids.
Good or bad my brother knew what was what and what to do. Thank you to my brother for stepping up where you needed to.
Al was selfless when it came to helping others. I remember him helping my Mom a few times and never asking for anything in return. Thank you.
Big Al has have helped me in so many ways I can´t even begin to say but the best of it is always welcoming me with open arms.
Big Al, I will miss your hugs!
I remember on a visit I had a couple weeks ago, Al was telling me he didn´t take his medicine so he could drive Jan to Vermont. They both lit up talking about their trip to the candy store.. Big Al got his favorite and Jan got hers. They were so excited that day.
I am really glad to be able to be part of your Father´s Day celebration.
Big Al, I will miss you so very much and know I will always have a place in my heart with you in it.

My name is Kathy and I am the sister of Vince (VJ) the husband of Barbara, the sister of Jan, the wife of the wonderful man I knew as Big Al. As I grew up my brother and I lost our father not long after his and Barbara´s wedding. From then on it was Big Al that was there as a father figure to my brother. He helped mold him into the wonderful man and father he is today which shows the kind of man Big Al was. That man was funny and could take a sad day away. Al would do anything for anyone who needed it. If you didn´t know how to do it he did and he would show you how to do it, not just do it. He gave himself selflessly and never asked for anything in return. He helped my Mom more than once and for that I´m forever grateful.
Al´s family was his pride and joy. He beamed over his wife and kids. It was only just a short few weeks ago he told me he didn´t take his medicine so he could take Jan to Vermont. He seemed as excited as she because they brought candy home. I loved his stories and I will miss him so.
Al, Thank you for all you are.
You will forever live on in the hearts of the lives you have encountered.
Al,
I hope there is a good running lawn mower waiting for you in heaven.
I heard it is a beautiful place full of rolling green hills.
You will forever have a place in my heart.
To the family and friends of Al Green..
I am So So sorry for your loss.
