Riddett, Alice C. ALBANY Alice C. Riddett, a devoted mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Hempstead, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lina Mueller. She was predeceased by Edward, the love of her life and husband of almost 60 years; and brother, Roy Mueller. She is survived by her children, Ken (Joanne), Kathy Luther (Milt), Karen (Louise Guiliano), and Kevin (Debbie); grandchildren, April, Jennifer, Kimberly, Kyle, Brian, Lisa, Milton, and Michelle, and her many granddogs. Alice worked as a baby nurse on Long Island for many years before retiring. She was passionate about volunteering and helping others and spent many hours at the VA Hospital and the soup kitchen. She loved to travel and enjoyed her flowers, birds and fish. Alice fully enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Avila community; exercising, playing bocce, going to plays, having dinner and socializing at wine and cheese. She will be laid to rest with her husband and brother in the Saratoga National Cemetery. All services will held privately.
