America Cardazzi Obituary

Cardazzi, America
EAST GREENBUSH - America Cardazzi passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Born in Torrice, Italy, she was the daughter of Vincenzo and Lucia Fiacco. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Sebastiano Cardazzi; her brother, Valentino; and her sisters, Flora and Severina.
America dearly loved her children, Giovanni, Vincent (Ann Beth), MaryJane (Michael), and Anthony. She cherished her grandchildren, Michael (Antonella), Anthony (Sarah), Marisa America (Thomas), Tiffany, Gianna, Sophia, and Krystal. She adored her great-grandchildren, Francesca America, Michael, Aubriella, and baby boy's anticipated arrival.
America was a loving mother, whose passion was her family. She treasured her family and embraced every moment. Her role as Nonna was extra special. She was happiest when cooking, sharing meals and being surrounded by loved ones.
A woman of faith, devout Catholic, communicant of St. John's Church for over 70 years, member and past-president of the St. Anthony Society, and member of the Rosary-Altar Society. She enjoyed time with her friends and playing bingo.
America touched the lives of many with her love and compassion. She will be remembered as a woman who loved, cared and helped all. She always did the extra things in life to help others, because that is what matters. She will be missed by all.
"Una mamma meravigliosa...Ci vediamo nella prossima vita"
