Andrew Rosenbaum Obituary

Rosenbaum, Andrew Roger Thomas
LATHAM - Andrew Roger Thomas Rosenbaum passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Andrew was born on Friday, April 14, 1989, in West Chester, Ohio. He is the son of Jan (Simons) and Mark Rosenbaum of Savannah, Ga. Andrew served as the Head Golf Professional at Wolferts Roost Country Club since 2018 and previously served as the First Golf Assistant at Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, N.J. Andrew graduated from Clemson University in 2011 where he received his Class A PGA Certification. Andrew was very passionate about the game of golf, whether teaching or playing a round with members and friends.
Andrew never "met" a stranger and was a genuinely kind and generous person who tried to make everyone feel special. Family and friends were very important to Andrew as well as his faith.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Clare Conway; his grandparents, Fred and Imogene Rosenbaum and Virginia Simons; his uncles, Neil Rosenbaum, Kent Rosenbaum, Mark Ravas, Tim Simons, Dave Willman, Mike Slone; aunts, Lynne (Rosenbaum) Ravas, Kim (Ryan) Rosenbaum, Michelle Rosenbaum, Jill (Simons) Willman, Julie (Simons) Slone, Kelly (Jenkins) Simons; 15 cousins and their families. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas L. Simons and his uncle, Thomas H. Simons.
Andrew's Funeral Mass, celebrated by Father Walsh, will be held on Monday, December 11 at 11 a.m., at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Rd., Loudonville, N.Y.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family gratefully requests those wishing to remember Andrew in a special way to either make a donation to Wolferts Roost Country Club to establish an Employee Assistance Fund (New York) or Golf Gives (c/o David Reasoner [email protected]) (New Jersey) in his memory.
