Ann Brown Obituary
ALBANY - Ann S. Brown, 80, of Albany, passed away on February 15, 2024, at St. Peter's Hospital.
The daughter of the late August and Matilda (Topps) Samoray, Ann was born on December 20, 1943, in Rockville Center, N.Y.
She resided in Hicksville, N.Y.; Ridgefield, Conn.; Wethersfield, Conn.; and lastly, Albany, N.Y. Ann received her education from Hicksville High School and also Berkeley College. She was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, and was a member of Jaycee's. Ann was an advocate for women in need.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher (Melissa) Brown; her daughter, Alison Brown; and her grandchildren, Noelle Brown and Chloe Brown.
Our family wishes to thank our mom's best friend of 30 years, Andrea Bergstrom, who was at her side when she passed.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. The Brown Family has chosen to honor Ann's memory and mourn their loss in private.
