Makoyi, Ashley Jean Musau LATHAM Ashley Jean Musau Makoyi, 20, passed into eternal life on Monday, January 28, 2019, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Ashley was born on April 24, 1998, in Albany, to Freddy Makoyi and Francesca Makoyi. Ashley was a 2016 graduate of Albany Shaker High School, and after graduation she enrolled at SUNY Canton as a nursing major. Ashley will be remembered as a loving and caring friend, sister, and daughter. She is loved by her parents, Freddy and Francesca Makoyi, her younger brother, Nathan, and her younger sister, Gabriella, and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends. Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189, on Friday, February 1, from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at New Comer, on Saturday, February 2, at 10 a.m., followed by a burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
