Barbara Danskin Obituary
WATERFORD - Barbara B. Danskin, 91, formerly of Robin Lane, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Evergreen Commons Nursing Center. Born in Norwood Mass., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Olive Roche LeBlanc.
Barbara had volunteered her services at the Waterford Welcome Center and with the Captain Community Human Services program in Clifton Park. She was a talented decorative painter, and avid knitter, and also enjoyed crocheting.
She was the widow of Henry Bruce Barnum, who died in 1967; and Richard Danskin, who died in 2005.
She is the loving mother of Michael Barnum (Diana), of Niskayuna, and Robyn Tompkins (Jared), of Athens. She is the proud grandmother of Christopher M. Barnum (Besan); and great-grandmother of Noorah, Nadine and Noelle Barnum.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Waterford Rescue Squad, 46 4th St., Waterford, N.Y. 12188.

My heart goes out to Robyn and Michael. I'll always remember her as Barbara Barnum...a very big influence on me as a child. A wonderful woman..friend.. neighbor. So full of life and wonderful stories. I'll always love you and miss you. May you RIP.
