Proniske, Bernice Alice (Schwartz) STUYVESANT FALLS Bernice Alice Schwartz Proniske, 90, of Ct. Rte. 25, Stuyvesant Falls, died Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson. Born in Kinderhook, January 8, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Nellie (Eaton) Schwartz. Mrs. Proniske was a homemaker and a member of the Stuyvesant Falls Senior Citizens. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed baking, especially homemade hot baked bread for her family on Saturday mornings. She is survived by five children, George Proniske (Tamara) of Kinderhook, Thomas Proniske (Marilyn) of Claverack, Robert Proniske (Betty) of Chatham, Daniel Proniske of Stuyvesant Falls and Donna Hotaling (Steven) of Valatie; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George Edward Pro-niske; her son, David Proniske; four sisters; and one brother. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from the Church of St. Joseph, Stuyvesant Falls where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Frank O'Connor and Rev. Mr. Rick Washburn. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Stuy-vesant Falls. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc., Route 9, Valatie.
