Brian Delaney Obituary

Delaney, Brian Timothy
WEST MILTON - In loving memory of Brian Timothy Delaney, 52, who left us on September 23, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and countless precious memories.
Brian attended Saratoga Springs High School, where he graduated in 1989.
Brian is survived by his grandmother, Norma Sherwood; his parents, Ron and Arlene Delaney; his brother, Ron "Ronnie" Delaney (Anne); his sister, Jennifer Delaney; his wife, Brenda Delaney of Wynantskill; and his dog, Zeus, whom he loved more than life itself.
Born to Arlene and Ron Delaney, Brian was a true gift to his parents. He brought joy and happiness to their hearts from the moment he entered their lives. His parents watched him grow into a remarkable young man, full of curiosity and passion for life. Brian's spirit shone brightly, illuminating the lives of those around him.
As a brother, Brian was an unwavering source of support and love to his siblings, Ronnie and Jennifer. They shared an unbreakable bond built on a foundation of shared experiences, laughter, and the understanding that family is forever. Brian's unconditional love and protective nature will forever be remembered by his adoring siblings.
Brian was married to Brenda Delaney of Wynantskill, who adored him and was her rock for 22 years. They made many cherished memories that will forever be etched into their lives. Brian was a wonderful father figure to Brenda's two children, Richard Carroll and Krystal Decheck whom he provided guidance, compassion, love, and wisdom.
Brian's sister-in-law, Anne Delaney, held a special place in his heart. They shared a unique bond, built on mutual respect and a friendship that grew stronger over time. Anne was not just a sister-in-law to Brian but a true sister, a confidante, and a source of unwavering support.
Brian's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew him. His infectious laughter, brilliant mind, and caring nature touched the lives of many. He was always there to lend a helping hand, offer a kind word, or share his creative ideas. Brian's presence brought comfort, his wisdom brought guidance, and his friendship brought joy.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 5 p.m. in the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford. Relatives and friends may visit with his family at the funeral home on Friday from 3-5 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX, 75284-0692, or the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY, 12204.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. I go out and see Zeus everyday and pet him and speak to him. He misses his dad! It was a pleasure getting to know you as a good neighbor.

Brian was a shining light in everyone´s life. We would share our recipes daily. He loved to share his cooking ideas with me. We spent many early mornings chatting about food and our families. He will truly be missed. Brian was one of a kind. He loved the 4th of July. We brought my mother to his Fourth of July party and she talked about it for years. John jumped in the bouncie house. Those memories will be with us forever. Rest in peace my friend and thank you for the beautiful memories.
