Sorry I am just seeing this now. We grew up in the same neighborhood as Brian & the Doyle & Duclos families. I am a Cunningham & I grew up w/my 3 brothers & sister Beth on Lark St. close to Hamilton St. & his Mom Jane was my youngest brother's teacher at Cathedral. So sorry for ur loss! Very hard to lose a sibling especially in a large family. We played steal the bacon & head-ons on the corner of Lark & Hamilton. We had so many kids to play with back then. God bless Brian & all the the Doyles & Duclos, our old neighborhood friends. We moved to Pine Hills area 4/1963 & remember Kate Duclos lived on New Scotland Ave. near St. Thersa's Church. We went to VI like our parents did & lost contact with people from our old neighborhood. Sorry for the loss of Brian. He always had a smile as I remember.

Many of the best memories of our lives were shared with Brian and his family. Our grand children will hear stories about the strength, kindness, courage, compassion and loyalty of the Doyle family. Thanks for being our friend, Brian. Rest peacefully now in the Lord. We'll see you again some day.

Brian was a kind, sensitive, sweet man. Almost too nice for this hard world. He was always there for my family, and Larry was loved by Brian even when it was hard to do so. I can say l never heard a mean word from Brian about anyone, which says alot about him. May he be smiling with Fiona and Little Brian forever.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. Brian was always a true friend to my brother Larry. During Larry's final years in NYC, he was doing really bad. My husband and myself and Pat would always go down and check up on him but no one else -except Brian. He was a constant always coming to visit Larry. What a great, compassionate, caring man Brian was. My parents and Pat also thought very highly of Brian too. My heartfelt condolences to all the family.

My sincere condolences to All of Brian's family and Loved ones, I am So Sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of ironworking with Brian on many jobs when my father Tom was the Business Agent. My father Always spoke Highly of Brian and once I got to know him I could see why. He was always energetic and upbeat. Lots of good times and laughs and Always such a Nice guy. I loved running into Brian in Saratoga during the summers at Four Seasons restaurant. One of my Favorite ironworking friends for sure. If Brian was on the job you knew it was going to be a pleasure to be around him. Lots of laughs and lots of that Big smile of his. He was an Exceptional ironworker and he was a Sensational man. RIP on a life well lived and God bless you and your loved ones.
