Doug was a most intelligent, interesting man.We enjoyed many a conversation with him at the Sherwood Inn in beautiful Skaneateles. We and many others miss him very much. Our condolences.

To Steve, Alan, and Ellen:

I was very saddened when Marshall called me with the news of Doug's passing.

A few summers ago Marshall and I were visiting a friend of mine, in Cazenovia and decided to drive over to Skaneateles and check out the lake. We stopped at one of the local bars to have a beer and I said jokingly I wonder if Doug Boyle might show up. ( I hadn't seen him in 20+ years) Unbelieveably, Doug walked through the door not five minutes later.

The three of us had a grand time telling stories about the "old days" in Troy and elsewhere.

He certainly was a colorful and animated person; he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

God bless all of you during these trying times.

Resectfully,

H. Earl Bouchey Jr.
