Carmella Francisconi Obituary

Francisconi, Carmella RAVENA Carmella Francisconi, 90, passed away after a brief illness in Florida on November 16, 2018, with her daughter by her side. Carmella lived all her life in Ravena before moving to Florida to be with her family. She was a communicant of The Church of St. Patrick, Ravena and a life member of the Ravena VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 9594. Most of all, Carmella loved being with her family, often times creating a feast when they all got together. Carmella was preceded in death by her husband Gino Francisconi; and daughter, Veronica King. Survivors include her beloved children, Joyce (Donald) Garrow and Anthony (Mary Anne) Francisconi; grandchildren, James and Donald Garrow, Gina and Anthony Cataldo and Amy Stackman; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Carnibucci; sister-in-law, Angie Bassotti; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, in The Church of St. Patrick, Ravena. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider a donation in memory of Carmella to The Church of St. Patrick, 21 Main St., Ravena, NY, 12143.
