My maiden name was Caputo, and I lived next store to Pete's mom on Frost Place. I babysat for Carol and Pete's children often , when they lived there and in Colonie. Carol was a sweet woman to work for and chat with. She was a kind of role model to me in my teens.

I am truly sorry for her entire family and friends and anyone else missing her.

Nanny was so amazing in so many ways. I'll never forget the first time I met her above the garage in east hills me and Bryant drinking wine w her and Janet. Such a pleasure to be around and at the same time such a strong intellectual carasmatic women that deserved and commanded respect just by being the kind hearted intelligent women she was. I could go on and on but to those closer to her than I was know even more about the amazing women she was. I feel privileged to have enjoyed the time I had with her and thankful for the time that my son spent with her god knows and we all know she was such a positive influence on everyone that crossed paths with her. It goes without saying that she will be dearly missed by anyone that was lucky enough to have known her but if there's one thing I'd like to believe is that her and her dear friend Janet will be sipping some wine and enjoying each other's company as they always did just like the first time I met her.
