Catherine Davis Obituary
ALBANY - Catherine Mary Davis died on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.
She was a lifelong resident of Albany and Rensselaer counties. Catherine graduated from Mercy High School. She also received two degrees from Hudson Valley Community College, a B.S. degree from SUNY at Plattsburgh and a M.S. from the University of Arizona. Catherine worked as a dental hygienist and taught in the department of Dental Hygiene and Biology at Hudson Valley Community College. She also served as the Chair of the Department of Dental Hygiene at Hudson Valley Community College.
Catherine is survived by her husband David J. Aloisi; and her brothers, Emmett A. Davis (Linda) of Pueblo, Colo., and James M Davis (Mary Bradley) of Albany. She is also survived by a niece, nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew.
A memorial gathering will be held Monday, December 12, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany. Family remarks will be presented at 5 p.m. during the gathering. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at any time from 4 to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Community Hospice, mailed to: The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.

She was the nicest instructor on the floor at the clinic. Being a left handed student was not easy. Ms. Davis told me she was a lefty, but made to use her right hand. She said, you´ll be just fine, I´m always here and happy to help
