Cindy Ferracane Obituary
SURPRISE, Ariz. - Cindy L. Ferracane (VanDuzer), 66, of Surprise, Ariz., passed away Monday, March 31, 2025. Born in Troy, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin J. and Lorraine C. VanDuzer (DuBois). She attended Sacred Heart Elementary School, Catholic Central High School, and went on to Hudson Valley Community College to study nursing. She was known by her family and friends for her deep compassion, as well as her love of all animals.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jerry F. Ferracane; her children, Lindsey L. Penner, Christian M. Ferracane, and Lainee M. Ferracane; her grandchildren, Emily M. Penner, Ethan W. Penner, and Logan J. Ferracane; her siblings, Catherine L. Hennessy (Ray), Benjamin J. VanDuzer Jr. (Marcia), and Dawn M. VanDuzer; and her brother-in-law, Michael Ferracane (Gail). She was pre-deceased by Antonio Ferracane, Maria Ferracane, and Pompeo Ferracane (Theresa). Cindy is also survived by her much-loved nieces and nephews. Shortly after marrying, they moved their family to Arizona and began their great adventure. Cindy was devoted to her family and remained close to many of her childhood friends. She had a love for music, cooking, and spending as much time as possible with her loved ones, including her four fur babies and her tortoise, Mack.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Sacred Heart Church, in Troy, N.Y., followed by a Memorial Mass of celebration at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider a donation to a charity of your choice.

To you all of you, it is with a heavy heart that I write this Cindy and I were childhood friends going back to Sacred Heart and the rec center that´s where we all met Fitzys was our hang out place along with a few others, we share many memories, and I will cherish them always as Gina said we were able to be together last year when she was home I am so grateful for that,fly high with the angels, my forever friend, and rest in peace on your journey to everlasting life until we meet again peace and love to all of you

I was fortunate enough to grow up with Cindy in Albia and we were able to reconnect on Facebook and recently got together the last time she was in Troy.
