STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Claire Uzzell Beattie, 84, of Stone Mountain, Ga., passed away on May 15, 2025. A visitation will be held on May 22, 2025, at 10 a.m., with service to follow at 11 a.m., at Greater St. Johns C.O.G.I.C, 74 Fourth Ave., Albany, N.Y.

To The Angel that I have the privilege of calling my "Oldest Sister":
What can I possibly say to describe the sadness and loss that I feel at this time? I only know that I have been blessed to have known you and have had you in my life. I really regret not having spent more time with you, but I cherish every moment I did.
Oh, my loving Sister, I shall miss you dearly. But I take solace knowing that you are now released from all the pain and suffering from your body as well as this world. May JESUS welcome you into His kingdom with opened arms. I love you and shall never forget you. Your Baby Sister, Brenda
