Cora Rouse Obituary
SCHENECTADY - Cora E. Rouse, 65, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom and dedication, to her family and community.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond Rouse and Rev. Dr. Bethenia L. Maye, and was born on August 10, 1960, in Lenoir County, N.C. Cora's passion for reading and writing shaped her life and career, inspiring those around her with her creativity and intellect. She was the proud owner of LuRay's Production in Albany, N.Y., where her entrepreneurial spirit flourished.
Services will be held Monday November 17, 12:30 p.m., at Light's Funeral Home, Schenectady, N.Y. Friends and family may gather from 12 to 12:30 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
