Daniel John Bubniak

Bubniak, Daniel John CLIFTON PARK Daniel John Bubniak, 82 of Clifton Park, passed away on July 9, 2021. A native of Amsterdam, he was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Anna Bubniak; and his wife Janet of 54 years. He is survived by his sister, Helen Bartone. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. His family meant the world to him, including his son, Jay and his wife Cindy; daughter, Jeanette and her children, Gabriella and Zachary; son, Eric and his wife, Denise, and their son, Blake; his daughter, Adrianne, and her significant other, Marc Dula. Daniel grew up in Amsterdam and graduated from SUNY Maritime College in the Bronx. In 1963, he met his wife Janet at a dance at the Tuxedo Ballroom in the city. It was love at first sight; they married in 1964. Daniel was a mechanical engineer for G.E. for over 50 years. Daniel was very dedicated to his family and supported them in every endeavor, building ice skating rinks in the backyard, inviting neighbors to the pool, and watching the kids' games. He was a big fan of his children's and grandchildren's sports and was very proud of all their accomplishments. He enjoyed taking his family out on their sailboat, Ma Cherie Amour, camping on Lake George, and taking the family to the Jersey Shore. He missed Janet greatly, and he can now be at peace as he is reunited with her in Heaven. Daniel was a member of the Clifton Park Elks Lodge BPOE 2466 for over 18 years and was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Ushers. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rte. 9, Clifton Park. The funeral will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Corpus Christi Church in Ushers where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Members of the Clifton Park Elks are requested to meet at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to pay respects to the their departed brother.
