Daniel Juliano Obituary

Juliano, Daniel F. Sr. TROY Daniel F. Juliano Sr., age 49, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with liver disease. He was born, raised and educated in the city of Rensselaer. Danny was an entrepreneur and was a very compassionate and caring person. Because of his strong faith in God, Danny would always be willing to share whatever he could with family, friends, or complete strangers. He enjoyed sports, movies and fishing but most of all spending time with his family. He loved baseball and held dear to his heart his memories of his years playing for Rensselaer Little League, varsity baseball and American Legion baseball for O'Neil Post. Danny is the son of James Juliano and Elizabeth Juliano Perrotto; stepson of Patty Juliano and Sam Perrotto. He is survived by his adoring children, Daniel Juliano Jr., Krista and Joseph Collandra; and granddaughter, Arianna Bulter. Also survived by his brothers and best friends, James J. Juliano Jr., Joseph (Maura) Juliano, Michael (Reban) Juliano, Robert Juliano and his sister, Katelyn Juliano. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. Danny was very proud of his uncle, Chief Rick Fusco. The family would like to offer a special thank you to his uncle, Mike Fusco Jr. who was always there for Danny whenever needed. Also a special thanks to Pastor James Van Den Houten Jr. and Janice Van Den Houten for all the support and love for Danny and our family in our time of need. Funeral from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, Saturday morning at 10:00. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday, 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Faith, Love and Fellowship Church, 85 Washington Street, Rensselaer, NY 12144. My Special Brother Danny:
Dan, you were the greatest brother a brother could ever want or have. I am still in shock that you are gone and that I can't see you in person now. I miss you so much, more than words could express. I know I will see you in heaven one day but until then life will never be the same for me. I will try and do what you asked (not to shed any tears), but honestly I can't help but not to. You were truly a great brother, and your love for your family, friends, a stranger in need, and God was a great gift that you gave to us and the world. Your heart was always in the right place, with God. I will carry that forward and I truly look forward to that day we meet again. I love you Danny with all my heart and I thank you for all you have given me in life, as those days and nights we spent together were my best days. Goodbye for now, and thank you for the lessons you taught me in life, as I am a better person today because of you. Till we meet again my brother Dan....Love your brother Jimmy Jr.

My dearest son danny,
Life as I have known it will never ever be the same without you. You brought so much joy into my life for 49 years. I miss our daily phone calls and more than anything going to your house and picking you up and spending time together. You were a man with such a big heart for everyone that came into your life. You were a wonderful son, loving father, and a terrific brother. We all love you so very much. You always told me not to shed any tears when you leave because you knew you would be with Jesus and would be at peace with your friends and gram & gramp in heaven. But, it is still so hard to be here without you. I wish I could give you one more big hug and tell you how much I love you just one more time. I shall have to wait till we see each other again and we will be together again someday Danny. I love you with all my heart, there will not be one day when I don't think of you. Till we meet again my son...
Love, Mom

Danny was a great brother and friend to me,he always treated me like family since the first day I met him. That never wavered even if we had differences of opinions or disagreements. He was always the most accepting and welcoming to me. When Michael and I moved to SC one of the things I missed the most was family popping over to our house. In particular Danny,he would pull up and yell in our window almost every day "Mike,Reban,Sawyer are you guys there"? Danny in his car with his window rolled down waiting for one of us to say "yea, come on in Dan". Oh it would take him about twenty minutes just to park and gather all of his "goods" he had that day, hoping he would kill two birds with one stone; to visit us and just maybe he might make a sale.(We all know how good of a salesman Danny was) Well Danny had me sold from the first day I met him. His inviting smile his "song and dance" or his "game", if you will. God, I loved him, I had many adventures with him, just Danny and I. Actually, I have been missing him for years, since we moved, but we had many long conversations up until late. He was at peace,he loved God, and he was not afraid. He told me so. He loved his family couldnt be more proud of his parents and where he came from. Loved his brothers dearly and oh his children and grandchild, he just could not stop bragging about them! We would be on the phone for hours, when I could finally reach him, Lord knows Danny did not know how to work an answering machine! Danny had so many qualities, he was a salesman, he had the "gift for gab". He was adventurous and extremely inquisitive. Always loved to hear about you, selfless he was. Thrived on learning more, he never knew enough always waned to know more. Most of all he had a huge heart, "For the Grace of God, there go I". He always lived by that so does Jimmy J. I am so sorry Julianos and friends for your tremendous loss, Life certainly for me is going to be significantly less exciting, and certainly less fulfilling. I have a huge hole in my heart!
Love you all, Reban Juliano
