Daniel L. Millington

Millington, Daniel L. BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. Daniel L. Millington, 68, died peacefully in his sleep on November 26, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 14, 1938 in Schenectady, N.Y. Daniel retired from Abele Builders in Clifton Park. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Millington was an avid bowler and golfer. He was a member of Jonesville United Methodist Church. He was predeceased by his father, Vernon Millington. Survivors include his wife, Karen Clark Millington of Ballston Spa; children, his son, David Millington of Greenfield Center and his daughters, Linda Shayne, Christine Gardner and Heather Parrotte, all of Ballston Spa and Sarah Brooks of Mayfield, N.Y.; his mother, Clara "Dot" Milling-ton of Hazel, Ky.; sisters, his sister, Maureen Ramsden of Hazel; 12 grandchildren, and one great grandson. Services Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Interment, Burial will follow in North Milton Cemetery, town of Milton, N.Y. Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 29, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY. 12211.
