David Macdonald Obituary
LATHAM - David Kyle Macdonald, 64, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at St. Peter's Hospital with his sisters by his side.
Dave was born in Oneonta and subsequently raised in Slingerlands, attending Bethlehem Central Schools. As a dedicated Boy Scout, Dave achieved his Eagle Scout Award in 1976. A graduate of H.V.C.C. and SUNY IT in Utica, Dave enjoyed a long career with National Grid, working his way up to senior relay technician at the time of his death.
Dave is survived by his parents, Donald and Betty Jo Macdonald; and his sisters, Kathy (Jim) Whalen, Lynn Rivers (Tom Derion), and Janis (Bob) Koshgarian. Dave is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Shawn Rivers (Brittany), Erica Rivers, Jim Whalen (Tristine), Lindsey (Tom) Duclos, Lauren (Luke) Aguera, and Alex Koshgarian (Lia); and six great-nieces and nephews. Dave also treasured his relationships with many close friends.
Calling hours and a celebration of Dave's life will be on Saturday, December 3, from 3 to 6 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet.
In lieu of flowers, and to honor Dave's mother, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org.

My deepest sympathies and those of my family are with Dave´s family. I´ve known Dave for nearly 40 years and have many priceless memories of times with him. He will be sorely missed. David, may you rest in peace forever in the house of the Lord.
