Deborah Callan Obituary
COXSACKIE - Deborah Ann Callan, age 69, a long-time Coxsackie resident, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Greene Meadows in Catskill.
Deborah was born on March 23, 1954, in Albany, the daughter of the late Richard and Anita (Vasquez) Frost. Deborah was a graduate of Columbia Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse and certified C.N.A. instructor for over 35 years at numerous facilities in the Capital District and Greene County areas.
Deborah was a former member and treasurer of the Cementon Sportsman's Club. She was a former member and officer of the Catskill Yacht Club and former member and past president of the local PBWA.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Callan Jr. of Coxsackie; a daughter, Kristina L. Callan of Highland; two brothers, Robert (Audrey) Frost of West Albany, and Richard Frost of Philadelphia, Pa.; and many nephews and great-nephews.
Per Deborah's wishes, there will be no formal services. A celebration of life is planned for a later date and will be announced.
Donations in her memory may be made to Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehab, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I am sorry to hear of Debbie's passing! I didn't know her well or for long. She contacted me and explained how we were related and would message each other on occasion, always hoping to meet in person someday. Unfortunately that day will not happen here on earth. Rest easy my cousin!!

To Debbie's family I am very saddened to have come across this today and so very sorry for your loss. I went to junior and senior high with Deb. We managed to stay in touch on Facebook. She was a loving caring person. Always smiling. May she rest in peace and you all are in my thoughts and prayers .God bless , Joanne Gaddor McGrath
