Dennis A. Knoll

Knoll, Dennis A. KINDERHOOK Dennis A. Knoll, 56, of Kinderhook died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his home. Born May 28, 1960, in Islip, N.Y.; he was the son of Albert and Carol (Kass) Knoll of Kinderhook. Dennis was a 1978 graduate of Ichabod Crane High School and SUNY Morrisville in 1983. He was the maintenance manager of the Blue Spruce Inn and Suites in Valatie. He was the past president of both the Philmont and Kinderhook Tri-Village Rotary clubs and enjoyed numismatics (coin collecting), stamp and butterfly collecting. He was also an avid skier, and loved scuba diving and kayaking. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jane (Riscavage) Knoll; three children, Elisabeth R. Knoll, Michael J. Knoll, and Stephanie L. Knoll, all of Kinderhoook; a sister, Susan Vonreusner, Red Hook; and two brothers, Steven Knoll of Valatie; and Robert Knoll of Boston; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, at St. John the Baptist Church, Route 9, Valatie, with Rev. George Fleming officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 16, from 4-7 p.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook St., Valatie. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
