Donald Blakeslee Obituary
CLIFTON PARK - Donald Blakeslee of Clifton Park passed quietly on November 9, 2022, in the home that he built, at the age of 82.
In the early 1970s, Don did electrical construction for the city of Cohoes. After 28 years Don retired from G.E. in Waterford. Don was a journeymen electrician, a lifetime member of the C.P. Rod and Gun Club, an SPCA peace officer, and a member of the Elks Club. Don was a Ham Radio operator with an FCC License.
Don is survived by his wife of 58 years, Diane; sister, June Lee (Jim); three children, Rita (Mike), Don, and Dawn; grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service in the Living Hope Christian Church at 11 a.m. on November 19.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Burnt Hills Backpack program, c/o Living Hope Christian Church, 978 Saratoga Road, Ballston Lake, NY, 12019, or Schenectady City Mission.
